Kiwi Motorsport wrapped up a successful Formula Pro USA weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, earning victories, podiums, and critical development mileage for its drivers in a rain-soaked weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park.
Leading the team’s results, Carolyn Fitzgerald delivered an outstanding performance to claim the Women’s Racing Series (WRS) Championship, promoted by Exclusive Racing and run under the Formula Pro USA banner. Fitzgerald completed the full West Coast season with Kiwi Motorsport and was rewarded with a pair of accolades—WRS Champion and third place overall in the Formula Pro USA championship standings. Her speed, consistency, and growth throughout the season culminated in a well-earned podium celebration.
In addition to Fitzgerald’s success, Oliver Savoie impressed in his outing with the new-generation Ligier JSF4. Seeking additional seat time, Savoie entered the Formula Pro USA event and made the most of the opportunity, winning his class and showcasing both pace and composure in extremely challenging wet conditions.
Also running the updated Ligier JSF4, Ayden Kohut—a Kiwi Motorsport development driver—took part in his first-ever race weekend. Kohut showed maturity beyond his experience, adapting to the damp, inconsistent track surface and securing an impressive second-place finish in class. The weekend marked an important step forward in his progression up the formula car ladder.
Across the board, Kiwi Motorsport’s drivers gained valuable track experience, navigating heavy rain, evolving grip levels, and race craft-building situations that will strengthen their performance and experience, moving into future events.
“Despite the difficult weather, this was a hugely productive weekend for our program,” said Kiwi Motorsport Teena Larsen. “Carolyn’s championship, Oliver’s win, and Ayden’s strong debut highlight the depth of talent we’re developing. The wet conditions challenged everyone, but our drivers responded exactly how a team hopes—by learning, adapting, and delivering results.”
Kiwi Motorsport now turns its attention toward testing programs and upcoming competition as preparations continue for the 2026 season and beyond.
